The AGS-X (electromechanical), autonomously operating or computer-controlled tensile testing machine is used in the automotive industry for testing welds (aluminium, steel, stainless steel), joints (riveted, welded, glued, crimped, pressed) or base materials, whether it is used for measuring stress, strength (at fracture, maximum strength, yield strength, yield point), force (at break, fracture, loosening, in progress), deflection, elongation and ductility, and for compression, bending, fracture, cracking (visual inspection) and other mechanical tests.
These tensile testing machines can also be used for cyclic loading. Tests can of course be carried out at high, low or room temperature.
